PROFESSIONAL OVERVIEW
I am a passionate, results-driven transportation professional with a proven track record of success in overseeing complete streets and Vision Zero transportation projects. Adept at leading diverse teams, driving project delivery, and fostering collaboration, I posses expertise in stakeholder coordination, community engagement, strategic planning, GIS applications, and critical geography. I am committed to promoting sustainable and safe urban environments and equitable access to public space, while imparting a deep understanding of GIS, critical geography, and spatial analysis to undergraduate and graduate students. I consistently seek out challenging opportunities in transportation planning and engineering, utilizing my technical proficiency, leadership skills, and personal initiative to contribute to the development of sustainable and thriving communities.
I received my Master’s in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017 and have worked for the City of Philadelphia's Office of Transportation, Infrastructure, & Sustainability (OTIS) since May of that year.
My skills include project management, cross-agency collaboration, leadership & team development, budget & resource management, communication & interpersonal skills, community engagement, problem solving, data analysis & mapping, and process improvement.
WORK AT THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA
I lead a diverse team of professionals including planners and engineers responsible for complete streets and Vision Zero transportation projects across our district. As a district manager, I foster a culture of collaboration and initiative within my team, leading by example and promoting personal and professional growth among staff members.
I have a track record of successfully planning and implementing high-profile transportation safety projects in Philadelphia. These include the Essington Avenue separated bicycle facility pilot, the Chestnut and Walnut Streets parking-separated bicycle facilities, Oregon Avenue repaving and transit optimization coordination, Washington Avenue post-installation study data collection and analysis, and several Great Streets PHL corridors in West Philadelphia.
WORK AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA
As the course instructor for URBS 3300/5300: GIS Applications in Social Science at the University of Pennsylvania, I develop the course syllabus, assignments, and readings to provide a structured approach to GIS mapping and analysis for both graduate and undergraduate students. I also lead all class lectures and GIS lessons, grade all assignments, and engage with students during office hours.
I ensure that my course remains relevant up-to-date by regularly reviewing and updating assigned materials based on student feedback, emerging topics, and technological advancements. An important aspect of this work involves the Incorporation of critical geography lenses to raise awareness of power dynamics and inequities in map-making. I consistently receive exemplary course evaluations for instructor quality, subject matter communication, and student learning outcomes.

ENGAGEMENT
I developed the materials in this section for a range of projects undertaking by the Office of Complete Streets since 2017. The documents and videos featured below represent a few of the many ways our office reaches out to community groups and neighbors when working on a project. Especially since COVID-19 made holding in-person meetings unsafe, we have pivoted to paper mailers, online presentations, and explanatory videos to reach Philadelphia residents across the City through different mediums.
